1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.piinnovent.com (the “Website”) and your rental of CPR training kits and related equipment from Pi Innovent Private Limited (“Pi Innovent”, “we”, “us”), a Private Limited Company registered in India with CIN U69100GJ2026PTC175913 and GSTIN 24AAQCP9469H1ZO, having its registered office at 29, Krishna Industrial Estate, Bakrol – Bujrang, Ahmedabad – 382430, Gujarat, India.

By placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or rent our equipment.

2. What we provide

We rent CPR training manikins and associated equipment (“Kits”) on a per-day basis.

A rental is a service, not a sale. Ownership of every Kit remains with Pi Innovent at all times. You receive the right to use the Kit for the rental period you have paid for, and nothing more. You acquire no ownership interest in the Kit, and you may not treat it as your property.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to place an order. If you are ordering on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these terms.

4. Booking and payment

  • All bookings are made through the Website. Payment is taken at the time of booking.
  • Your booking is confirmed only when payment has been successfully received. An unpaid order is not a booking, and we will not reserve a Kit against it.
  • Prices are inclusive of GST, as indicated at checkout.
  • We do not require a security deposit.

5. Rental period — when your clock starts

This section matters. Please read it.

  • When you book, you choose a date and a delivery slot: Morning (10:00 AM), Afternoon (2:00 PM), or Evening (6:00 PM).
  • Your rental period begins when the Kit is physically delivered to you — not when you placed the order, and not at the scheduled slot time.
  • If we deliver later than the slot you booked, your rental period is extended so that you receive the full duration you paid for. You never lose time because of our delay.
  • If we deliver earlier than your slot, you get the extra time at no charge, and your rental still runs to the end of the period you booked.
  • The rental ends at the corresponding time on the final day of the period. After that, the Kit stops functioning and must be returned.

6. Delivery and collection

  • We deliver to addresses within our service area in India
  • Someone authorised to receive the Kit must be present at the delivery address during the slot you selected.
  • If nobody is available to receive the Kit, we will contact you to reschedule. Your rental clock does not start, and you are not charged for time you did not have the Kit.
  • We collect the Kit at the end of the rental period. Someone must be available to hand it back.

7. Your responsibilities while you have the Kit

You agree to:

  • Use the Kit only for CPR training, and only as described in the instructions we provide.
  • Keep the Kit safe, clean, dry, and indoors.
  • Not open, dismantle, disassemble, unscrew, drill, cut, or otherwise gain access to the interior of the Kit or its enclosure, for any reason.
  • Not remove, break, deface, or otherwise interfere with any seal, label, serial number, or QR code on the Kit.
  • Not attempt to read, extract, copy, decompile, disassemble, or reverse-engineer any firmware, software, circuit, sensor, or component of the Kit, nor permit or assist anyone else to do so.
  • Not photograph, scan, measure, 3D-scan, or otherwise record the internal construction of the Kit.
  • Not connect the Kit to any device, network, or system other than the mobile hotspot we specify.
  • Not sub-rent, lend, sell, pledge, or transfer the Kit to anyone else.
  • Not move the Kit to a different address without telling us first.
  • Return the Kit in the condition you received it, allowing for normal wear from correct use.

If you believe the Kit is faulty, tell us. Do not attempt to repair it yourself. We will fix or replace it. Opening a Kit to “have a look” is a breach of these terms, whatever your intention was.

8. Damage, loss, and theft

  • You are responsible for the Kit from the moment it is delivered until we collect it.
  • Normal wear from correct use is expected and is not charged for.
  • If a Kit is damaged beyond normal wear, lost, or stolen while in your possession, you are liable for the full replacement cost of ₹39,000 plus 18% GST.
  • We inspect and test every Kit at collection. If a fault is found, we will inform you with photographs before raising any charge.

9. Internet connection

Our Kits need an internet connection to function. You must provide a mobile hotspot with the network name and password we specify, and keep it active during training. We will help you set this up at delivery.

We are not responsible for training you are unable to complete because of an internet connection you did not provide or maintain.

10. Extending your rental

You can extend a rental at any time before it expires by scanning the QR code on the Kit and paying for additional days. Extensions are subject to availability and are confirmed only on successful payment. The Kit stays with you — nobody needs to collect and redeliver it.

11. Training aids, not certification

Our Kits and dashboards are training aids. They are not medical devices, and they do not certify anyone as competent in CPR.

Nothing we provide is medical advice. We do not train you, and we make no representation that using our Kit makes you qualified to perform CPR on a real person.

For certification, you must train with a recognised body such as the Indian Red Cross Society, or an accredited first-aid training provider.

You are solely responsible for how you use any skill you practise on our equipment.

12. Training data

We record compression depth, rate, and session scores from your training sessions. This data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Our liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of a rental is limited to the amount you paid for that rental.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost business, or loss of opportunity.
  • We are not liable for any injury, harm, or death arising from a real-world attempt to perform CPR, whether or not the person attempting it has used our equipment. Our Kits are for practice on a manikin only.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

14. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.

15. Intellectual property

All content on the Website, and all software, firmware, circuit design, mechanical design, and know-how embodied in our Kits, belong to Pi Innovent or our licensors. Renting a Kit gives you no licence to any of it, express or implied.

You may not, and may not permit any other person to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or manufacture any part of the Kit, or anything substantially similar to it
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Kit or its firmware
  • Use any information obtained from a Kit — however obtained — to design, develop, or manufacture a competing product
  • Disclose to any third party any information about the internal construction of the Kit

These obligations survive the end of your rental. They continue to bind you after the Kit has been returned.

16. Breach — what happens

If you breach Section 7 or Section 15 — in particular by opening a Kit, breaking a seal, or attempting to reverse-engineer it:

  • We may terminate your rental immediately, without refund, and recover the Kit.
  • You will be liable for the full replacement cost of the Kit — ₹39,000 plus 18% GST — whether or not the Kit still functions. A Kit that has been opened cannot be returned to service.
  • We may seek an injunction to restrain you, and anyone acting with you, from using or disclosing anything obtained from the Kit. You accept that damages alone would not be an adequate remedy for us, and you will not argue otherwise.
  • We may pursue any other remedy available to us in law, including for infringement of our intellectual property and for interference with our property.

We may also suspend or cancel a rental, without refund, for any other breach of these terms — in particular if you sub-rent a Kit, or use it for anything other than training.

Nothing in this section limits any right or remedy we have at law.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on the Website at the time you place your order. We will not apply changes retrospectively to a booking you have already paid for.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
